WALT know the number of tens and ones in 2 digit numbers.

In maths, we have been learning to identify tens and ones in 2 digit numbers. We used tens and ones blocks to make some numbers.

We are learning how to roll and mould clay to form the shape of a mussel shell and meat.

Room 10/11 have made the Mussel artwork for the Art Show that is taking place in Term 3 Week 9. We observed closely on what features green-lipped mussels have and learned to use clay to carefully mould its shape for both the shell and the meat. After, we used the sculpting tools to show different textures on the mussel. Then we used colours to paint the mussel shell and the meat to create the authentic look! Lastly, we used real sand from a beach to make our background.
